Plans unveiled for development at Tullamore City Park
Plans have been unveiled for substantial development work at Tullamore City Park.
Offaly County Council has announced plans to carry out work in the town’s popular amenities.
The council plans to install new toilets and a caretaker facility in the park.
In addition to these works, he also plans to install an outdoor and covered entertainment area in the park.
Full plans are available from today at Offaly County Council offices, Áras an Chontae, Charleville Road, Tullamore, Tullamore Municipal District offices, Acres Hall, Tullamore and Tullamore Library during normal office hours. They will be visible until June 22.
The development has been appropriately assessed in accordance with the European Habitats Directive and the Planning and Development Act 2000 as amended.
The Appropriate Assessment screening concluded that the proposed development would not be likely to result in significant or undetermined impacts on a European site.
Submissions or comments regarding the proposed development, dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development would be located may be made in writing to the offices of the Municipal District of Tullamore, Acres Hall, Tullamore, County Offaly at later July 6. Submissions must be clearly marked Lloyd Town Park.
