Offaly County Council proposes to build 20 houses in Chancery Lane, Tullamore, Co Offaly.
The development will consist of 4 single-storey one-bed houses, 8 two-storey semi-detached/terrace two-bed houses, 6 two-storey semi-detached/terrace three-bed houses, 1 four-bed storey and 1 three-bed storey and a semi-detached houses.
The local authority claims that the development has undergone Appropriate Assessment (AA) in accordance with the EU Habitats Directive and the Planning and Development Act 2000 as amended. The AA assessment concluded that the proposed development would not be likely to result in significant or undetermined impacts on a European site.
Council also carried out a preliminary review (nature, size, location) of the proposed development and determined that there were no significant environmental effects and did not require an impact assessment. environmental.
Anyone wishing to make a submission or comment on the proposal may do so until April 14, 2022. They may also ask An Bord Pleanála to determine whether the development is likely to have significant effects on the environment.
