topographical information to understand the flora and fauna during hikes

The editions of Belles balades have just printed a guide and cell software that lists the most beautiful excursions between Causses and Cévennes.
Guide for hikers wishing new trails to explore in Lozère! The publisher of Belles Balades guides has just unveiled a reserve which has a privileged position on the hiking trails between Causses and Cévennes.
This 100-page booklet, available in bookstores and supermarkets for ⬠17.90, offers tips for walks on the slopes of Mont Lozère, the Gorges du Tarn or the valleys of the Cévennes.
2000 copies now sold
Its advantage, compared to a basic IGN map, is that it has many illustrations and texts to learn more about flora and fauna, as well as community procedures, such as agro-pastoralism.
“We absolutely wanted to work with actors in the field to enrich this manual, which required six months of work.”says editor-in-chief Yann Le Fichant. Proof that the final result is really satisfactory, 2,000 copies are now available and a reprint is under development.
Listen to the bird tracks on your phone
In addition to the reserve, walkers can also download cellular software that works like a GPS. Thanks to a QR code process that can be flashed with their mobile phone, hikers can reach the starting point of their route without difficulty.
They also have the option of downloading their route just before setting off to avoid setbacks along the way, when the network is absent. Finally, last choice and not the least, by posting the drawings on the paper manual, hikers will have the pleasure of listening to the song of the birds existing on the perimeter. What to have on eyes and entire ears.
